Established in 2022, AtmoDC is a lifetime accomplishment for its founder Denis Choinière. The expertise acquired in olfactometry at McGill University and the Environment Department of Consumaj is now his niche. Measuring odours is an art. With 27 years of experience, AtmoDC is a leader in olfactometry in Quebec, nationally and internationally. This business helps businesses, towns and organizations to solve atmospheric contamination issues they are faced with as well as olfactive nuisances. AtmoDC is an important player in the fight against climate change.

Who is Denis Choinière?

Graduate from McGill (B.Eng. ’97) Denis Choinière designed an olfactometer during his Master’s (M.Sc ’99) which was used by McGill University. In 2000, Mr. Choinière joined the engineering firm Consumaj as head of the Environment Department where olfactometry was offered amongst other environmental services. In 2016, he purchased Consumaj and developed further management skills. Now, his 25 years of expertise and olfactometry services are offered in his engineering firm, AtmoDC.

His new goal is to improve the atmospheric environment.
